This tour is perfect for guests who want to explore the rich heritage of both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires in the heart of Sultanahmet, the old city of Istanbul.

Your journey begins in Sultanahmet, the historical center where great empires once ruled. During the tour, you will visit the magnificent Hagia Sophia, one of the most important masterpieces of world architecture, originally built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian.

You will then continue to the famous Blue Mosque, known for its elegant design, blue İznik tiles, and six impressive minarets. The tour also includes the ancient Hippodrome, once the center of political and sporting life in Constantinople, where you will see the Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, and German Fountain of Wilhelm II.

Another highlight of the day is the world-famous Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world, with around 4,000 shops selling carpets, jewelry, antiques, leather goods, and souvenirs.

The tour also includes a visit to the remarkable Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years and one of Istanbul’s most important UNESCO World Heritage treasures. Here, you can discover sacred Islamic relics, Ottoman manuscripts, imperial treasures, porcelains, robes, weapons, and many other priceless collections.
